Fisonomía

No es mentira
es otro
el dolor que duele
en mí
es un proyecto
de paseo
en círculo
un malogro
del objeto
en foco
la intensidad
de luz
de tarde
en el jardín
es otro
otro el dolor que duele
es aquí
por ahora
todavía no hay
cortina
alfombra
luz indirecta
amenizando la noche
cuadros en las paredes

Azul de tierra en tí

Parece mar, el cielo
donde me he recostado a soñarte?

¿Te he sacado del tiempo?

COLD IN HAND BLUES

y qué es lo que vas a decir
voy a decir solamente algo
y qué es lo que vas a hacer
voy a ocultarme en el lenguaje
y por qué
tengo miedo

Chau número tres

Te dejo con tu vida
tu trabajo
tu gente
con tus puestas de sol
y tus amaneceres.

Sembrando tu confianza
te dejo junto al mundo
derrotando imposibles
segura sin seguro.

Te dejo frente al mar
descifrándote sola
sin mi pregunta a ciegas
sin mi respuesta rota.

Te dejo sin mis dudas
pobres y malheridas
sin mis inmadureces
sin mi veteranía.

Entre versos

Apacibles mis días, nada bueno, nada malo, solo estar.

Keep Blowing and lighting

There is another sKY

THERE is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields -
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!

Sense of absence

If I dare
look up and speak
it is because of the shadow
so gently bound
to my name
far away
in the rain
in my memory
by a face
that burning in my poem
beautifully disperses
the scent
of the dear face gone

Wrong

To make of thirst my emblem
to mean the only dream
not to nourish on love ever again

I have been pure offering
pure roaming
of wolf in woods
in the night of bodies

to speak the innocent word

A. Pizarnik

I am truly madly deeply in love with Alejandra Pizarnik.

To name you.

Not the poem of your absence,
only a drawing, a crack on a wall,
something in the wind, a bitter taste.

Encircled by avidity

What does it mean to translate oneself into words?

When it does come my eyes will shine
with the light of whom I weep
but now it kindles a rumour of flight
in the heart of every thing.

hope.

      OPE Was but a timid friend;
She sat without the grated den,
Watching how my fate would tend,
      Even as selfish-hearted men.

      She was cruel in her fear;
Through the bars one dreary day,
I looked out to see her there,
And she turned her face away!

Like a false guard, false watch keeping,
      Still, in strife, she whispered peace;
      She would sing while I was weeping;
If I listened, she would cease.

      False she was, and unrelenting;
When my last joys strewed the ground,
      Even Sorrow saw, repenting,
      Those sad relics scattered round;

Hope, whose whisper would have given
Balm to all my frenzied pain,
Stretched her wings, and soared to heaven,
      Went, and ne'er returned again!

siento y no siento.

Safe.

This is winter, this is night, small love
A sort of black horsehair,
A rough, dumb country stuff
Steeled with the sheen
Of what green stars can make it to our gate.
I hold you in my arm.
It is very late.
The dull bells tongue the hour.
The mirror floats us at one candle power.

This is the fluid in which we meet each other,
This haloey radiance that seems to breathe
And lets our shadows wither
Only to blow
Them huge again, violent giants on the wall.
One match scratch makes you real.
At first the candle will not bloom at all ---
It snuffs its bud to almost nothing, to a dull blue dud.

I hold my breath until you creak to life,
Balled hedgehog,
Small and cross. The yellow knife
Grows tall. You clutch your bars.
My singing makes you roar.
I rock you like a boat
Across the Indian carpet, the cold floor,
While the brass man
Kneels, back bent as best he can

Hefting his white pillar with the light
That keeps the sky at bay,
The sack of black! It is everywhere, tight, tight!
He is all yours, the little brassy Atlas
Poor heirloom, all you have
At his heels a pile of five brass cannonballs,
No child, no wife.
Five balls! Five bright brass balls!
To juggle with, my love when the sky falls.

Jorge Luis Borges
